Briquettes from our own timber offcuts.

We recycle all the wood waste from our joinery production into briquettes.

All the timber comes from sustainable forestry, and the briquettes are a 100% waste by-product of our manufacturing process: no trees are felled to make them. They come in easy to handle 10 kilo bags, with an average moisture content of 7 to 8%, and have shown good gasifying properties in trials on wood boiler systems.

We are part of the Biomass Suppliers List (BSL) and our briquettes are a Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) woodfuel. We use them ourselves to heat the workshop.
